I don’t like AT&T but I really don’t like Comcast, aka Xfinity.  Any savings I’ve enjoyed having faster internet service was soon negated by mind numbing support calls and repeated outages.  I suggest to my residential computer repair clients in Charleston and tri-county area to consider Knology or Time Warner if available first, AT&T next, Comcast last.

My personal experiences with Comcast “customer service” have been legendary.

Today, one of my clients needed her service back on.  Based on info Comcast fed us, we ended up unnecessarily driving approximately 35 miles, was on the phone for no less than four hours with at least 3 of those 4 on-hold, and was repeatedly given incorrect information.

Based on just our experience today, if a higher being handed out trophies for misinformation, Comcast customer support would be sittting on allot of trophies; the icing on the cake today was a rep that empathized with our on-hold time and promised us repeatedly after we we’re on for almost an hour she would call back at the designated time at 1:20pm today.  Did she call us back?  Of course not.
