Heartbleed a major vulnerability in OpenSSL protocol has impacted at least two-thirds of all sites on the Internet at the time it was discovered; companies are quickly trying to fix the issue.   Most larger companies acted quickly but the bug is years old so people have been at risk for years regardless of how quick the site has been patched.

The computer security gurus at LWG Consulting have gathered a list of all the major sites that were affected by Heartbleed.  If you have accounts on any of the sites listed in the graphic, change your password immediately and change your password on any other sites if you use the same password there.

If you’re looking to protect yourself from websites still affected by Heartbleed you can install this plugin which will warn you if you visit a website that has not yet updated OpenSSL to protect users from Heartbleed.
