Ming-Chi Kuo an analyst who’s predictions are almost always correct because the info is gathered from a number of reliable supply chain sources delivered a large report going over what appears to be allot about the upcoming iphone6.

Kuo states it will have a new 4.7-inch display, feature a new Apple A8 processor with 1GB of RAM, less RAM than modern Android devices that sport 2-3 GB of RAM in 2014.

The new iPhone will be thinner, the bezel on the sides of the display will be reduced by about 15% so that the phone can still be used comfortably with one hand despite a bigger screen.

Kuo reported the power/sleep/wake button will be relocated from the top of the phone to the side, so it can be reached more easily on the larger phones.   This is similar to numerous Android phones.

Kuo says the 64GB high-end model with sport Gorilla glass and the lower end models will have sapphire crystal to cover the iPhone’s displays.  Saphire crystal is important for Touch ID which may soon be embedded in iPhone display panels rather than home buttons, and sapphire is needed to ensure fingerprint reading accuracy.

According to the Kuo, the iPhone 4s and iPhone 4 will be discontinued and the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will occupy Apple’s two lower-end price slots.

Kuo says that the iPhone 6 will launch late in the third quarter, and the new iPhone tablet will launch late in the fourth quarter.
