Ever wish you could “unsend” an email?  You can if you use Gmail.  To set it up, visit Gmail’s settings, click the Labs menu, type Undo Send in “Search for a lab” box.  Click Enable to turn ON this feature.

Now, every time you email someone you’ll see a confirmation your email has been sent along with an “Undo” option you can click up to at least several seconds afterward that will stop the email from being sent out to your recipients.

Pro Tip #2  When I write emails, the last thing I do is put in the recipients’ email addresses.  That way it’s impossible to accidentally send it too early.
